Appeal
If a request is denied, reply with the word Appeal, identify the decision, and explain why it should be reconsidered. A separate review will be conducted. Where required, the response will identify the appropriate state attorney general, data protection authority, the UK Information Commissioner, or the Australian Information Commissioner.
Australian complaint process
An Australian privacy complaint should identify the act or practice complained of and the requested resolution. The controller will ordinarily respond within 30 days. If the Australian Privacy Act applies and the response is unsatisfactory, the complaint may be taken to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
